Finatal is currently working exclusively with a leading business provider of Service Improvement that has had a recent Private Equity investment from an EU mid-market fund. They are now going through fast growth due to its rapid acquisition strategy with a keen focus on ESG. They are looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Information Security to join them early on to build out their security IT Operations platform and cyber security strategy from scratch across the 60 global entities. You will work closely with other directors and the C-suite and be responsible for managing relationships with partners, and suppliers and implementation of IT toolset.
Role:
- In this greenfield role you will be working closely with the CISO and Head of Group IT Governance, Risk & Compliance you will develop and implement security strategies and policies.
- You will have ownership of building the new security operations centre from scratch as the business continues to scale.
- Management of the IT security vendors and service providers including contract negotiation and performance reviews.
- You will scale and lead the IT security team, mentoring and delivering training.
- Stay up to date with cyber threats, advising the business on strategies for penetration testing, hacking and intrusion detection systems/prevention systems.
Requirements:
- Experience building an information security function and strategy from scratch in a rapidly growing business, with strong exposure to cyber security.
- In-depth knowledge of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF), and best practices.
- Track record of advising and working with network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Experience with SIEM tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CEH.
