The Head of Revenue and Credit Control will oversee the Billing and Credit Control teams, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. This role involves collaborating with the transformation team to implement global processes, managing practice migrations, and transitioning from manual to automated billing and collection systems. As a senior team member, you will play a crucial role in guiding your team and maintaining strong business relationships.


  • Assess current processes and develop a roadmap to automate and enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with the transformation team to drive changes and improvements in billing and credit control.
  • Supervise credit controllers and billing specialists, ensuring high performance with effective team management.
  • Manage the entire billing creation and cash collection process from start to finish.
  • Business partner with division account managers to ensure timely billing and collections, managing stakeholder expectations all round.
  • Ensure the monthly billing process is completed accurately and promptly, increasing month-end close efficiency.
  • Integrate cash collections into short-term weekly cashflow projections.
  • Create and develop policy and process documents, and communicate changes across teams.
  • Oversee the customer ticketing service and work to reduce the number of open tickets.
  • Act as a key contact during audits for billing and credit control matters.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the teams.
  • Develop a vision for the billing and credit control teams and track performance against identified KPIs.


  • ACCA, CIMA, or similar qualification.
  • Proven experience in managing a team through significant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to strengthen and retain a high-performing team.
  • Experience in developing and coaching a billing and credit control team, emphasizing the importance of communication.
  • Strong background in system migrations and automating manual processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of collections and debt recovery strategies.
  • Proven track record of reducing debt collection balances.
  • Treasury management experience in predicting future billings, cash collection expectations, and participating in weekly cashflow forecasting.
