Finatal is currently collaborating with a private equity firm looking for an experienced integration lead to drive M&A integration across their portfolio businesses.

In this role, you will be involved in the planning, design, and management of the overall Integration Management Office (IMO) program across multiple core workstreams. These include product, technology, sales, finance, human resources, and procurement. You will assess the synergies between the target and acquiring companies, and determine the respective costs and time required to ensure a smooth integration.

Your responsibilities will include creating the blueprint for the integration, which encompasses the operating model, Day 1 readiness plan, and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and timeframes to adhere to. The primary focus of this role will be on the integration of products, technology, and sales, given the scale of the companies being merged and their existing functions.

Requirements for each portfolio business will vary; the first requirement is for a B2B SaaS and GRC (Government risk and compliance) business, so experience within this sector is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage integration planning, design, and IMO programme across various workstreams.
  • Assess synergies, costs, and time for smooth integration.
  • Create integration blueprint, operating model, day 1 plan, KPIs, and timeframes.
  • Focus on integrating product, tech, and sales. 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8 years + of integration experience
  • Prior experience within the integration/separations team within a reputable accountancy practice, and experience working for private equity-backed businesses.
  • Experience within the following sectors beneficial: B2B Sales, GRC or risk-beneficial
  • Availability to start within 6 weeks
