Finatal is working with a highly acquisitive software consolidator backed by leading private equity firms. This privately owned group specializes in buying and holding B2B software businesses, retaining the founders and their teams, and collaborating with them to accelerate growth. As the organization continues to expand its portfolio, there is a pressing need for an Integration Manager to ensure new businesses are seamlessly integrated into the broader technology and operating environment.
About the Role
You will collaborate across various functions—finance, product/technology, operations, HR, and commercial teams—to design and implement robust integration strategies for newly acquired software businesses. Candidates with direct experience managing in-house integrations in a PE-backed setting, or those who have worked in dedicated M&A integrations teams (especially in tech/software), will thrive in this role. This is an opportunity to shape a growing function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will drive measurable value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integration plans: Align acquired B2B software businesses with the parent company’s operational processes, technology infrastructure, and cultural values.
- Cross-functional collaboration:Â Partner with functional leaders (product management, engineering, finance, sales, HR, etc.) to harmonize workflows, platform integrations, financial controls, and talent management in support of a cohesive operating model.
- Performance measurement:Â Establish and track key performance indicators to evaluate integration success, proactively identifying optimization opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Change management:Â Facilitate clear communication and knowledge transfer between newly integrated units and existing business teams, ensuring transparent and effective change management throughout the integration process.
- Strategic alignment: Work closely with founders and senior stakeholders to preserve and leverage each company’s unique expertise and culture while aligning with the overarching strategic goals of the group.
Requirements
- Integration/M&A experience:Â Demonstrable background in leading in-house integration programs, ideally within a private equity-backed context or a dedicated M&A integrations/separations practice. Experience in technology or software acquisitions is highly valued.
- Project management excellence:Â Proven ability to juggle multiple complex workstreams, delivering high-impact results within challenging timelines.
- Relationship-building skills:Â Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, with the capacity to influence and negotiate across diverse teams and leadership levels.
- Strategic thinking & problem-solving:Â A results-oriented, practical mindset, complemented by a deeper strategic understanding of how integrations drive value creation.
- Adaptability:Â Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, effectively pivoting to manage emerging priorities as new acquisitions come online.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by refining and strengthening the integration approach across a fast-growing portfolio of B2B software businesses. If you are passionate about driving operational efficiency, fostering cultural alignment, and ensuring acquisitions achieve their intended value, we would love to hear from you
