The Opportunity

Finatal has partnered with a Mid-Cap Private Equity Firm, currently looking at a significant restructuring and transformation of their multi-site manufacturing portfolio company (€150M Revenue).

The business has an immediate need to develop new strategies for transformation and re-assess resources within the organisation. A strong CEO/CTO that has experience in manufacturing and a history with successful turnarounds under Private Equity management is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven executive leadership in driving large-scale organisational transformation, with a demonstrated ability to restructure operational frameworks and business models within manufacturing or closely related industries. Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex corporate restructuring initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, while maintaining business continuity and performance. Experience in aligning organisational strategy with operational execution to deliver sustainable growth during periods of significant change.
  • Expertise in implementing strategic cost optimisation initiatives aimed at improving overall operational efficiency, including the streamlining of supply chain processes, production workflows, and resource allocation. Experience driving process automation, reducing operational bottlenecks, and increasing productivity across multi-site operations in competitive markets.
  • Strong financial acumen with the capability to realign business units, effectively manage P&L, and optimise capital allocation throughout restructuring phases. The role requires demonstrated expertise in developing financial restructuring strategies, managing working capital, and reallocating resources to high-growth areas. Stakeholder management skills, including negotiating with internal and external partners to secure buy-in and alignment for long-term strategic goals and organisational sustainability are key.
