Finatal is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity in partnership with a prestigious private equity-backed manufacturing business. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Interim Group CFO to join a global leader in the industry. With revenues approximating €1bn and an EBITDA of around €200m, this business is poised for significant growth through both organic expansion and strategic transformational acquisitions.

As the Interim Group CFO, you will partner with a highly accomplished c-suite team to navigate the company through a critical transitional phase. Your role will be pivotal in providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, and driving the financial strategy to align with both the company’s objectives and private equity expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives and private equity stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment: Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to safeguard the company’s assets and earnings.
  • Cash Flow Optimization: Enhance cash flow management to ensure the financial health and liquidity of the business.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement in financial operations, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, and financial institutions, ensuring clear and transparent communication.


  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Group CFO within the manufacturing industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a global private equity-backed environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Strategic Acumen: Ability to think strategically and drive complex financial initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, cash flow optimization, and regulatory compliance.
