Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join an exciting infrastructure business with a turnover under £50 million. This is a key leadership role in a high-growth business that is preparing for its first private equity investment, making this an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong track record of success in the infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in preparing the business for its first private equity investment, ensuring all financial systems and structures are aligned with investor expectations
- Lead the financial strategy and oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, KPIs, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide leadership and guidance on financial operations, including treasury, risk management, and compliance.
- Manage bolt-on acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration strategies.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience preparing a business for its first private equity investment.
- Proven experience as a CFO within the infrastructure sector, with a deep understanding of the financial intricacies of this space.
- Strong expertise in capital expenditure (capex) management and decision-making.
- Demonstrable experience in acquisitions, including leading financial due diligence, structuring deals, and integrating businesses post-acquisition.
- Chartered Accountant background.
