A midmarket PE fund is seeking an interim CFO for one of their Media assets which are £100ml EBITDA. Having been carved out over 6 months ago, there is a potential to flip this business into a potential exit and sale by the end/or early 2026.
We need someone who is experienced in that TMT space with new product launch as the business is due to grow rapidly through the launch of 2 new products in 2025 and they have a further 2 products to launch in 2027 so, 2026 is a year they should be able to get the best value.
The role has a variety of expectancies and needs so needs someone comfortable around operating at pace
- Professionalisation of the finance function
- Set the finance function up for success, (including setting up a FP&A function)
- Look at ways in which processes can be improved and more efficient
- Work on the financial reporting/month end to get those done in a more systematic way
- Work directly with the investors in terms of VDD, setting the business up for a potential sale process
- Experience of working alongside bankers, lawyers etc.

- Led a full exit process, ideally to trade by PE would be okay
