Finatal is currently seeking a highly experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a Mid-Market Private Equity Fund. This is an exciting and hands-on opportunity to support the internal technology strategy of a dynamic and growing investment firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the IT infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation initiatives within the firm.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic technology solutions that align with the firm’s investment and operational goals.
- Manage internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure efficient and secure technology operations.
- Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity, data management, and other tech-related matters affecting portfolio management, risk, and performance.
- Ensure scalability and robustness of technology platforms as the firm grows.
- Assist in the integration of new technologies to streamline processes and support operational efficiency across the firm and its portfolio companies.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a CIO or in senior technology leadership roles, within the Private Equity (PE), Credit Fund, or broader Asset Management sectors (Internal).
- Strong understanding of the unique technology needs and challenges within the investment management and private equity space.
- Hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and technology solutions.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing both internal teams and external partnerships.
