Job Overview:
Finatal is seeking an experienced Interim Data Engineer to join a leading private equity regulatory business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, architecting, and building a data warehouse that consolidates disparate data sources. This is a pivotal role for someone with a strong background in data engineering, particularly with expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Architecture:Â Lead the design and architecture of a robust data warehouse to integrate multiple data sources efficiently.
- Data Integration:Â Utilize Fivetran to seamlessly connect and extract data from various sources.
- Data Transformation:Â Implement and manage DBT for transforming and modeling data in Snowflake.
- Visualization:Â Develop and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Collaboration:Â Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure the data warehouse meets business needs.
- Testing & Optimization:Â Ensure the data warehouse is tested, optimized, and scalable.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with specific expertise in building data warehouses.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, and Power BI.
- Ability to design and implement efficient data architecture and pipelines.
- Experience within private equity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
