Finatal is currently partnered with a leading Private Equity fund seeking an Interim FD for their Polish chemical and manufacturing portfolio business. The business operates with a strong industrial focus, boasting a c. ~€40M EBITDA, supported by a compelling equity story and low-cost, high-value operations.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting and preparing the business for an exit, providing key financial leadership, and contributing to its strategic transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exit support: Support with Exit process and deep transformation of the finance function. Drive the financial integration process with one of the Big Four, overseeing the setup of the data room and exit preparation requirements. Prepare financial presentation materials to support transaction processes.
- Financial Optimisation: Lead the month-end close process, streamlining operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Build and professionalize financial models from scratch, adapting to the newly acquired terminal’s requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in Polish.
- Sector Experience: Demonstrable experience in the chemical and manufacturing industry, preferably within Private Equity-backed businesses.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with financial modelling, transaction services, and data-driven decision-making.
- Location: Flexibility to work off-site (Polish-based is preferable)
