Role: 

Finatal is partnered with a PE-backed entertainment business in London who are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner. This role will be pivotal in supporting the business through a period of growth and transformation, providing M&A assistance and driving operational efficiency across the company. 

Responsibilities: 

  • M&A Support: Assist with due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning for potential acquisitions. 
  • Collaborate with the CFO and private equity investors to evaluate acquisition opportunities and post-deal integration. 
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support M&A decision-making and ensure successful execution. 
  • Operational Efficiency: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement operational improvements, including cost optimization, process improvements, and system upgrades. 
  • Develop and refine KPI reporting and performance tracking to drive efficiency across departments. 
  • Lead initiatives to improve working capital, cash flow, and profitability. 
  • Business Partnering: Act as a key liaison between finance and operations, providing strategic insights to support growth initiatives and financial targets. 
  • Present financial performance updates and analysis to senior management and private equity stakeholders. 
  • Financial Forecasting and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PE expectations. 
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and performance reviews. 

Requirements: 

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in financial analysis and business partnering. 
  • Proven experience working in private equity-backed businesses, ideally within the entertainment or media sectors. 
  • Significant exposure to M&A processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration. 
  • Demonstrable experience in driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
