We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the critical role of Head of External Reporting. This is a unique opportunity to stabilize and enhance the reporting function within a dynamic and evolving environment.

Role Overview: As the Head of External Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in managing and refining our external financial reporting processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial reports. You will work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to align reporting practices with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the external financial reporting function, including the preparation and review of statutory accounts and regulatory reports.

· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.

· Oversee the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for external stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and auditors.

· Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to address and resolve reporting issues.

· Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and improve financial reporting processes.

· Drive improvements in financial reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial reporting, particularly within the insurance sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Extensive experience in a senior financial reporting role within the insurance industry.

· Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

· Proven track record of managing complex reporting processes and delivering accurate financial statements.

· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
