Finatal is working with a global PE backed Professional Services company focusing on the digital and renewable energy sector. They are looking for a hands-on, highly results-orientated interim Finance Controller to drive innovation by transforming and streamlining financial processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness from day one.
Job Role:
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic leadership and tactical direction to ensure the financial health and growth of the business. This role demands a seasoned financial professional with experience in private equity environments, and a proven track record in enhancing finance functions in similar environments, exceptional cash management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with the company’s goals.
- Provide hands-on cash management and process improvement.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Implement robust financial controls and procedures.
- Lead and develop a large finance team.
Key Qualifications:
- Accounting Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven track record in a senior financial role within a PE backed company.
- Experience in the Professional Services sector
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and management
