As they scale, they are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to lead their finance function through a critical period of transformation. This role will focus on strengthening financial controls, optimising financial operations, and providing strategic insights to support continued growth.
Role Overview
As Interim Finance Director, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, improving financial controls, and ensuring robust financial reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of fintech business models, including payments, lending, or SaaS.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen and streamline the company’s financial controls and processes.
- Analyse profitability across different product areas to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in a Private Equity-backed environment.
- Strong background in retail finance, with a focus on both e-commerce and multisite operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
