Role Overview
As Interim Finance Director, you will be responsible for optimising financial operations, improving financial controls, and supporting senior leadership in making data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with various stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the retail sector.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Must have extensive experience within the retail sector.
- ACA/ ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Proven experience in a Private Equity-backed environment.
- Having had exposure to both e-commerce and multisite operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen and streamline the company’s financial controls and processes.
- Analyse profitability across different product areas to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure the safeguarding of company assets and compliance with all regulatory standards.
