The Opportunity:
Finatal is working with a very sought after growth private equity investor looking for a Finance Director to join the team for a minimum 3 month period. With an incredibly strong track record, they are keen to onboard a high potential and driven individual from an accountancy background to lead and strengthen the finance function.
Requirements:
Directly reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Being a business partner for the leadership team on all aspects of managing the company
- Leading on portfolio monitoring and analysis in tandem with the investment team
- Liaising with portfolio management teams on governance and compliance
- Responsible for all reporting to investors and related valuations of portfolio companies
- Fund raising support when necessary
- Managing compliance, budget and general accounting for the business including general tax matters
- Assistance with Company ESG policy
- Core finance skillset such as managing payroll and supplier payments
They are looking for:
- Minimum 4 years post qualified (First time passes ACA)
- Fund accounting division of top 20 accountancy
- Still in practice (experience of administration, fund accounting, portfolio reporting/valuations and exposure to tax issues)
- Strong academics (top university and a 2.1 as a minimum in a STEM degree)
- Really hungry for a position in PE in an established fund
- Driven and positive mindset
- Professional and presentable style
