This high-stakes carve-out project requires an experienced Finance Director who can lead financial operations, ensure seamless separation from the parent organization, and establish a robust financial framework for the standalone entity.

Role Overview

The Finance Director will play a key role in navigating the complexities of the carve-out, ensuring the financial separation is executed efficiently while maintaining operational integrity. Reporting to the CFO of the parent company, the role will involve creating a standalone financial structure, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the disposal process.

  • Oversee the transfer of financial operations, systems, and processes to the standalone entity.
  • Manage transitional service agreements (TSAs) and ensure smooth handover of functions.
  • Establish a scalable financial framework for the standalone business, including systems, reporting structures, and controls.
  • Implement robust financial processes to support the standalone entity’s success.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the carve-out.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as a Finance Director with expertise in carve-outs and disposals, ideally within a large multinational corporation.
  • Strong background in setting up financial systems and processes for standalone entities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with transitional service agreements, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in navigating large-scale organizational change.
