We are partnering with a high-growth, Private Equity-backed SaaS/ERP software business with c.£120m turnover, operating in a dynamic and fast-evolving sector. As part of their continued transformation and scaling journey, they are looking for a hands-on and commercially focused Interim Finance Manager to join their finance team.

The Role

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in strengthening financial operations, delivering accurate reporting, and supporting key decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership and Private Equity investors, the successful candidate will ensure financial processes are robust, scalable, and aligned with the company’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end close and deliver timely, accurate management accounts.
  • Lead audit preparation and liaise with external advisors.
  • Improve and maintain financial controls, processes, and documentation.
  • Prepare insightful financial reports and performance analysis for leadership and investors.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning.
  • Provide financial oversight of SaaS-specific metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC/LTV).
  • Partner with commercial and operational teams to support data-driven decisions.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects including system/process upgrades, M&A, and integration work.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager in a PE-backed or high-growth tech environment (excluding start-ups).
  • Familiarity with SaaS or ERP business models and performance metrics.
  • Strong technical accounting and commercial finance skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-oriented business.
  • Immediately available or on short notice.
