Finatal is partnering with a professional services firm in London to find an experienced Interim Finance Manager for a 6-month contract. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely while being based in Central London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional services, such as accountancy, law firms, or recruitment, along with excellent financial reporting and budgeting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the financial reporting for the group, including preparing and analyzing management accounts
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in close collaboration with senior management and finance teams
- Monitor and analyze operating costs, ensuring alignment with budget expectations
- Regularly prepare control account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Work with key stakeholders to optimize costs and identify potential savings
- Coordinate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing
- Conduct ad-hoc scenario analysis to support key business decisions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures
- Contribute to the implementation of new systems and processes to enhance efficiency
Skills & Experience
- ACA qualification (essential)
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in financial software (NetSuite experience preferred)
- Experience in financial reporting and budgeting, ideally within a professional services environment (accountancy, law firms, or recruitment)
- Familiarity with IFRS reporting and financial controls
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaborate with various teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
