This hands-on role will focus on integrating newly acquired businesses into existing financial processes, improving financial systems, and reconciling balance sheets. Strong experience in multi-site retail operations and managing financial aspects of acquisitions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group’s financial systems and processes.
- Manage and prepare management accounts across multiple sites, ensuring seamless integration of new locations.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, incorporating the impact of acquisitions.
- Conduct month-end financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting for all sites and new acquisitions.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and ensure smooth operational integration.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts for all sites and acquired entities, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure thorough and accurate reconciliation of financial accounts, particularly in relation to integrated businesses.
- Compile KPIs and reporting packs, tracking the performance of integrated businesses and the wider group.
Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience within retail finance, particularly with multi-site operations and acquisitions.
- Proven experience in integrating acquired businesses into existing financial structures and processes.
