A well-established, mid-market private equity-backed multisite healthcare group is seeking a commercially driven Interim Finance Manager to support during a critical phase of growth. With a growing national footprint and a clear mandate for optimisation and value creation, the business is focused on strengthening financial infrastructure and preparing for future expansion.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Interim Finance Manager will work cross-functionally with clinical and operational leaders to improve financial performance, implement scalable processes, and deliver insight to support data-led decision making. You will play a hands-on role in shaping financial reporting and controls while partnering closely with stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability across the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly management accounts with analysis across regions/sites
  • Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, aligning financial targets with operations
  • Enhance margin visibility, cost control, and service line profitability reporting
  • Develop and improve reporting tools to support investor and board requirements
  • Support due diligence, scenario planning, and strategic projects as needed
  • Strengthen financial processes, controls, and systems in a growing business
  • Collaborate with clinical, HR, and operations teams to embed financial discipline

Profile Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience
  • Experience in multisite healthcare, social care, or regulated service environments
  • Exposure to mid-market PE-backed businesses or similar investor-led settings
  • Excellent financial reporting and commercial finance capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
  • Available immediately or on short notice
