We’re partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business undergoing a period of transformation and professionalisation. With strong recurring revenue dynamics and international growth, they are seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to support core reporting, controls, and process improvement.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting and ensuring the finance function operates efficiently in a scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
- Own balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with group reporting and consolidation activities
- Support audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Improve financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
- Assist with revenue recognition and SaaS metrics
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)
- Experience in a Financial Accountant role within a SaaS or recurring revenue business
- Strong technical accounting (IFRS / UK GAAP)
- Experience supporting audits and financial reporting cycles
- Exposure to PE-backed or fast-growth environments advantageous
- Systems experience (NetSuite, D365 or similar) desirable
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
