An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing, leading mid-market private equity-backed multi-site business headquartered in London. Focused on an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, this organization is at the forefront of innovation and growth in its sector. The Interim Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring financial stability, scalability, and integration as the company continues its acquisition journey.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee financial reporting and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely consolidated accounts across the group.

· Support integration activities following acquisitions, standardising processes, and aligning reporting structures.

· Strengthen and enhance financial controls to support the business’s growth trajectory.

· Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to provide financial insights and ensure effective decision-making.

· Manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture during the interim period.

· Assist in preparing the business for future transactions, including potential refinancing or exit events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

· Qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with proven experience in a Financial Controller role, ideally in a PE-backed or SaaS environment.

· Strong technical accounting skills, including consolidations and statutory reporting.

· Experience supporting buy-and-build strategies, including post-acquisition integration.

· Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a hands-on and pragmatic approach.

· Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments and manage competing priorities effectively.
