Finatal is excited to partner with a fast-growing, privately-held Professional Services company as they embark on a transformative phase as a result of a buy out from a Private Equity firm. To lead this change, they’re looking for an Interim Financial Controller to take charge of the finance function and drive key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting
- Enhance financial controls, processes, and systems to support scalable growth
- Lead and manage a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and support
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP
- Deliver in-depth financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Assist with audits and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Skills & Experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory reporting and consolidations
- Experience in a Private Equity-backed business is highly desirable
- Must be willing to be in the office 3 days a week
