Finatal is thrilled to be partnering with a scaling hospitality business that has recently been acquired by a leading mid-market private equity fund. The investors have ambitious plans to expand the business aggressively through a strategic buy-and-build model, aiming for significant year-on-year growth. This pivotal interim role will focus on the professionalisation of the finance function, ensuring robust year-end processes, and leading transformative change management initiatives to support the business’s rapid scaling strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the professionalisation of the finance function, ensuring processes and controls are optimized.
- Oversee year-end audit preparation, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and smooth delivery.
- Implement changes to reporting structures and financial systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver timely, accurate management information, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting.
- Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and procedures.
- Identify and implement process improvements to align the finance function with the business’s strategic goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a proven track record in financial leadership roles.
- Experience in post-deal integration or finance function transformation.
- Demonstrable expertise in year-end audit processes and external auditor liaison.
- Strong change management skills, with a history of delivering impactful transformation.
- Private equity experience is desirable but not essential.
