Finatal is working with a high-growth SaaS business backed by a leading private equity firm. As the company prepares for a major transaction, this is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to pre-deal analysis, financial modelling, and investment strategy in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

As the Financial Modeller, you will play a critical role in supporting transaction readiness through advanced financial analysis and modelling. Reporting to the CFO, you will assist in scenario planning, valuation modelling, and investment presentations to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support transaction planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct valuation analysis, scenario planning, and financial forecasting for potential transactions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to provide insights into key financial metrics.
  • Support due diligence processes by preparing financial data and investment materials.
  • Analyse business performance and industry trends to inform transaction strategy.
  • Work closely with external advisors, investors, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial representation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACA, CFA, or CIMA qualification (preferred).
  • Proven track record in financial modelling within a high-growth or PE-backed business.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, transaction structures, and due diligence processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, and BI tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
