Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed agricultural business based in York, seeking an Interim FP&A Analyst to establish and implement a robust FP&A function. With ambitious growth plans and a focus on operational excellence, this role presents an exciting opportunity to shape the financial planning and analysis capabilities within the organisation.

Role Overview

As the Interim FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for setting up and embedding FP&A processes, improving financial visibility, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial insights drive business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement FP&A processes and frameworks from the ground up.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning.
  • Provide key financial insights and performance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Establish reporting structures to track KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Work cross-functionally to align financial planning with business objectives.
  • Support cash flow forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Improve data integrity and automation within the FP&A function.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong background in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Experience in setting up or enhancing FP&A functions within a growing business.
