Finatal is currently partnered with a Private Equity backed retail business who are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interim FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. As they embark on a journey to professionalise their FP&A function, they are looking for an experienced professional who can bring strategic insights, process improvements, and management accounting expertise to enhance our financial planning and analysis capabilities. Responsibilities
- Support the professionalisation of the FP&A function, driving improvements in processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis, contributing to the overall success of the finance team.
Qualifications
- Accounting qualified. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA is highly desired.
- Proven experience in supporting management accounts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
