They are at a pivotal mid-cycle stage, driving innovation and strategic growth through cutting-edge technology and marketing expansion. They are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Specialist to play a critical role in their financial strategy and operations during this transformative stage.
Role Overview:
The FP&A Specialist will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for providing strategic financial insights, supporting business integration processes and enhancing the financial planning and analysis capabilities. Your expertise will drive informed decision-making, optimise financial performance and contribute to the businesses long term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Develop and implement financial models to support business planning, strategic initiatives, and decision-making
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and drivers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business integration efforts, ensuring seamless financial alignment and reporting
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and private equity stakeholders
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital and investment opportunities
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within a PE-backed organisation
- Strong background in business integration and financial modelling
- Ability to maximise systems
- Ability to thrive in fast paces dynamic environment associated with private equity
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholder
- Detail oriented mindset and ability to critically assess
- Experience in post-acquisition integration
- Experience in a business backed by an institutional fund (PE or VC)
