We are supporting a high growth multisite business preparing for an upcoming exit, backed by a well-known mid-market PE fund. With turnover of around £60 million, the business is now looking for an experienced FP&A Consultant with a background in Transaction Services—ideally from a Big 4 firm—to support the Finance Director and CFO in building a clear, investor-ready financial picture.
The Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on getting the business exit-ready. You’ll support strategic planning and analysis, while leading on the financial workstreams of the transaction process—including preparing the business for external diligence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and refining robust, investor-grade financial models
- Preparing data packs and financial analysis for potential buyers and advisors
- Leading data cleansing efforts to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems and reports
- Supporting data room preparation, including collation, structuring, and ongoing management of core documentation
- Supporting the financial due diligence process, including responding to queries and preparing key analyses
- Collaborating with external advisors (e.g., corporate finance, legal, diligence providers)
- Supporting scenario planning, valuation analysis, and deal structuring discussions
About You:
You’ll bring a strong analytical mindset, top-tier financial modelling skills, and a keen understanding of how to prepare a business for a successful sale process. Experience in Transaction Services or Deal Advisory is key.
Ideal profile:
- ACA-qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in a Big 4 Transaction Services or Corporate Finance team
- Experience preparing companies for exit, including due diligence and data room setup
- Advanced Excel and modelling capabilities
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- PE-backed business experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and dealing with senior stakeholders
