Finatal is seeking an energetic FP&A consultant to join a dynamic, private equity-backed professional services firm who, as part of their buy & build strategy, are looking to expand their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment, with the opportunity to be a key player in building out the commercial arm of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and different departments to understand business requirements and translate them into effective financial models.
- Create high quality budget and forecast models.
- Perform variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support business planning and budgeting.
- Develop insightful reports and dashboards to communicate financial performance and key metrics to management.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support to senior leadership as needed.
- Help towards month-end completion and processes.
Requirements:
- Accounting qualified. ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in FP&A roles, preferably within an SME and professional services firm.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
