Role Overview:

You will be at the heart of their fundraising efforts, working closely with the executive leadership team and the private equity backers to prepare the company for its capital raise. You will be responsible for developing financial models, preparing investor materials, managing due diligence processes, and liaising with potential investors. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, private equity-backed environment where you will have a direct impact on securing the capital necessary for growth.

  • Develop detailed financial models, business plans, and presentations that clearly communicate the company’s value proposition, financial performance, and growth strategy to potential investors.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective investors, managing queries, and providing timely updates throughout the fundraising process.
  • Coordinate the due diligence process with potential investors, preparing and organizing financial data, legal documents, and company information into data rooms.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to forecast performance, analyze different capital structure scenarios, and provide insights into the potential return on investment for investors.
  • Conduct research on market conditions, competitor performance, and investor trends to inform the fundraising strategy and ensure alignment with investor expectations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and assist with the drafting and review of key transaction documents.
  • Prepare fundraising progress reports for the senior leadership team and private equity sponsors, ensuring transparency and alignment on key milestones and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation, and structuring transactions, in a private equity-backed or high-growth company environment.
  • Strong understanding of private equity expectations and the fundraising process, from initial investor outreach to closing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling investor materials and present complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage investor relations and navigate due diligence processes effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data room platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
