Our client, a global Financial Services company with $1.5 billion in revenue, seeks an exceptional Interim Group Chief Information Officer to lead their technology strategy from their base in Paris, France. This is a pivotal role requiring a seasoned executive with a strong track record within the Payments or Financial Services sectors.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the end-to-end global technology function, managing a diverse team of over 100 professionals spread across 30 countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the global technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a large, geographically dispersed technology organization.
- Drive significant cost optimization initiatives across the technology landscape.
- Oversee and guide complex cloud migration projects.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of global technology infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior technology leader (e.g., CIO, CTO) within a global organization.
- Deep understanding of the Payments or Financial Services industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale technology transformations, including cost optimization and cloud adoption.
- Experience managing and motivating global, multicultural teams.
- Fluency in French is essential due to the location and the need to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Private Equity experience is desirable.
