To support their expansion and ensure seamless financial integration, they are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to lead post-acquisition integration.
Role Overview:
As the Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in integrating newly acquired businesses into their financial framework. You will oversee financial reporting, drive harmonization of processes, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead the financial integration of acquired entities, aligning processes, systems, and reporting structures with the parent company’s standards.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and KPIs.
- Process Harmonization: Standardize financial procedures, controls, and reporting frameworks across all entities to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, and Legal, to streamline integration efforts.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for private equity sponsors, external auditors, and internal stakeholders.
- Change Management: Support cultural and operational alignment of newly integrated teams, fostering a cohesive financial management approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Finance Controller or similar role, within a private equity-backed environment.
- Extensive knowledge of post-acquisition financial integration and consolidation.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Experience in FMCG or similar fast-paced, high-growth industries is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms) and advanced Excel skills.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
