We’re supporting a large, international consumer and entertainment group in hiring an Interim Group FP&A Manager to join its central finance team in London.

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Group FP&A Director and partnering closely with senior leadership, including the CFO, as the function evolves into a true reporting centre of excellence.

The position suits someone who enjoys both analysis and improvement — not just producing numbers, but improving how the business understands performance.

The Role

You’ll sit at the centre of group performance reporting across multiple territories, helping leadership understand trading, trends and forward outlook. Alongside delivering core reporting, you’ll be expected to challenge processes, automate manual work, and improve decision-making quality across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly group trading and sales reporting, identifying key variances to budget/forecast
  • Deliver monthly group management accounts with clear, commercial commentary
  • Partner with finance teams internationally to improve reporting processes and shorten reporting cycles
  • Build automated reporting and remove manual workarounds
  • Support leadership and board presentations with clear, decision-useful insight
  • Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts across multiple territories
  • Provide analysis that drives operational and strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Must be Immediately Available
  • ~3+ years PQE in FP&A or group reporting
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Experience working with financial systems (TM1 or similar preferred)
  • Able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a complex, multi-entity environment
  • Someone who improves processes rather than just operates them
