Finatal is working with a dynamic, private equity-backed business in Birmingham looking for an experienced Interim Modeller to support financial planning and analysis. This SME is in need of an expert in recurring revenue models who can rebuild financial models and develop robust 3-statement models to drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Rebuild and enhance financial models to support recurring revenue analysis and investor reporting.
• Develop 3-statement models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior finance leadership to refine financial planning and budgeting frameworks.
• Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and key value drivers.
• Ensure data integrity and model accuracy, delivering actionable financial insights.
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in financial modelling, with expertise in recurring revenue businesses.
• Strong background in 3-statement modelling and financial forecasting.
• Experience working in an SME with turnover under £60m.
• Private equity-backed business experience is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification preferred.
