Finatal are supporting a private equity-backed B2B services business in the search for an experienced Interim Strategy Consultant to lead a high-impact commercial project. This is a 6-month engagement focused on delivering a full end-to-end market segmentation and pricing strategy.
The Role
You will work closely with the Commercial Director and Sales team to define, structure, and execute a strategic initiative aimed at driving revenue growth and improving commercial effectiveness. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and practical execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the end-to-end design and delivery of a market segmentation and pricing project
- Defining customer segments, value drivers, and pricing architecture
- Conducting data analysis, market research, and stakeholder interviews
- Translating insights into clear, actionable commercial strategies
- Supporting implementation with the sales team to ensure adoption and impact
- Engaging senior stakeholders and providing clear, structured recommendations
Candidate Profile
- Dutch speaker (essential)
- Background in a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., MBB or equivalent)
- Proven experience delivering market segmentation and pricing projects
- Sector experience in B2B services, industrials, insurance, manufacturing or factory environments is highly desirable
- Ideally, worked on a project with a PE-backed business, but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Define and structure ambiguous problems
- Lead projects end-to-end
- Clearly articulate the approach, process, timeline, and measurable impact of previous work
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment
