Finatal is partnered with a dynamic and rapidly scaling e-commerce company, is seeking an experienced Systems Financial Consultant to spearhead the selection, implementation, and optimization of a new financial and operational system. This is a pivotal role, ideal for a professional with a strong background in system transitions and a passion for driving efficiency and innovation in a high-growth environment.
As the Systems Financial Consultant, you’ll take charge of an end-to-end systems implementation project, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in defining and delivering the technological backbone of a thriving e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities
· System Evaluation & Selection: Lead the discovery process, assessing current workflows, and identifying the best-fit system to align with operational and strategic goals.
· Project Leadership: Develop and manage the implementation roadmap, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to the finance team, senior management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
· Change Management: Drive adoption of the new system through effective training and communication strategies, ensuring minimal disruption during transition.
· Testing & Optimization: Establish robust testing protocols and refine system performance post-launch to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications and Experience
· ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
· Extensive experience leading full-cycle financial system implementations, ideally within private equity-backed or high-growth businesses.
· Experience with leading systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
· Deep understanding of financial workflows, reporting requirements, and integration with operational processes.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
