The Opportunity
Finatal is partnered with a cutting-edge, entrepreneurial private capital fund who are looking to add a new associate to their dynamic, high-performing team. They invest both debt and equity into founder-led mid-market businesses across Europe. This is a brilliant opportunity for a self-starting, switched on investment banker or experienced investor to join a lean but growing team and learn from top-tier experienced investors.
The Role
- You will be involved on deals end-to-end from day one. This will include origination, due diligence/evaluation, execution and portfolio monitoring.
- You will work closely with the rest of the deal team to identify, screen, evaluate and make recommendations on potential investments.
- You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments.
- You will work closely with management teams to drive growth and value creation.
The Requirements
- 2-5 years investment banking experience.
- Fluency in German.
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ambitious, adaptable mindset.
