The Opportunity
Finatal is working with an exciting Capital Solutions fund who are looking to add a new investor to their high-performing team. They typically focus on distressed private situations investing across the capital structure in UK and Europea. This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, numerate self-starter to launch their buy-side career within a high yielding and reliable strategy. You will have access to every element of the deal process from day one, working closely with their experienced senior investors.
The Role
- You will be involved on deals end-to-end from day one. This will include origination, due diligence/evaluation, execution and portfolio monitoring.
- You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments.
- You will participate in various kinds of analysis and reporting pertaining to existing portfolio companies.
The Requirements
- 3-5 years investment banking M&A/Leveraged Finance/Restructuring/Distressed Debt or Capital Solutions/Special Situations Investing
- Fluent in either French or German.
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ambitious, adaptable mindset.
