The Opportunity
Finatal is partnered with an exciting, entrepreneurial growth equity fund who are looking to add a new investor to their dynamic, high-performing team. They typically focus on majority investments in high-growth European companies across a range of sectors. This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, numerate self-starter to launch their buy-side career. You will have access to every element of the deal process from day one, working closely with their experienced senior investors.
The Role
- You will be involved on deals end-to-end from day one. This will include origination, due diligence/evaluation, execution and portfolio monitoring.
- You will work closely with the rest of the deal team to identify, screen, evaluate and make recommendations on potential investments.
- You will be responsible for performing due diligence assessments and producing reports (commercial, financial, legal…) for new potential investments.
- You will participate in various kinds of analysis and reporting pertaining to existing portfolio companies.Â
- You will assist with portfolio management, including tracking performance and preparing dashboards, strategic input and assessing operational focus points.
The Requirements
- 1-3 years investment banking experience.
- Fluent in either German or French.Â
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ambitious, adaptable mindset.
