About the role:
As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s investment process, from deal origination through to execution and portfolio management. You will work closely with senior team members and have exposure to a variety of industries, gaining valuable experience in private equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential investment opportunities by conducting market research, networking and engaging with intermediaries.
- Assist in coordinating the due diligence process, including working with external advisors (legal, accounting, and industry experts) to assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare presentation materials for investment committees and other stakeholders.
- Monitor portfolio performance by reviewing financial statements, tracking operational metrics, and helping identify areas for improvement.Â
- Assist in the development of strategic initiatives to help drive value creation at portfolio companies.Â
Ideal Candidate:
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate finance – private equity investment experience is preferred.Â
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comparable company analysis).
- Proven ability to analyze financial statements and conduct due diligence.Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related Field (MBA or CFA is a plus but not required).
