Investment Associate, Mid-Market PE

About the role:

As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s investment process, from deal origination through to execution and portfolio management. You will work closely with senior team members and have exposure to a variety of industries, gaining valuable experience in private equity transactions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential investment opportunities by conducting market research, networking and engaging with intermediaries.
• Assist in coordinating the due diligence process, including working with external advisors (legal, accounting, and industry experts) to assess potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare presentation materials for investment committees and other stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance by reviewing financial statements, tracking operational metrics, and helping identify areas for improvement. 
• Assist in the development of strategic initiatives to help drive value creation at portfolio companies. 

Ideal Candidate:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate finance – private equity investment experience is preferred. 
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (LBO, DCF, comparable company analysis).
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and conduct due diligence. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related Field (MBA or CFA is a plus but not required).
