Finatal has partnered with a private-equity backed professional services business looking for an experienced IT Security Manager after experiencing a period of rapid growth. As IT Security Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing their information security strategy. You’ll be responsible for protecting their systems, data, and client information while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
This is a pivotal and entrepreneurial role, bringing IT Security expertise inhouse after several years of relying on MSPs and external vendors. You will work across the business, reporting in to the Head of IT. The role will provide you with the opportunity to grow the team and department as you fit.
What We’re Looking For
- Expertise in managing MSPs or External Vendors
- Proven experience in an IT Security leadership role, ideally within professional services or a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)
- Hands-on experience with security tools and incident response
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM.
- A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
