Finatal is currently partnered with a rapidly expanding Venture capital-backed online marketplace in the FMCG industry. Following their Series E round, they are looking to accelerate growth by expanding their data capabilities across all levels of the business.
They are now seeking a commercial and dynamic Lead Data Analyst to enhance operational efficiency and drive data-led decision-making. In this new role, you will work closely with the COO and other senior leaders, collaborating with the data team to deliver strategic insights that create tangible value. In the long term, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a small team.
- In this brand-new role you will partner with multiple teams and report directly to the COO, you will identify data needs, prioritise requests, and deliver actionable insights to department heads and executives.
- Leverage your strong technical expertise in SQL and DBT for data modelling, work with large datasets, and create impactful visualisations in Looker to support strategic recommendations.
- Identify and implement quick-win initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across order fulfilment, inventory management, stock and warehouse KPIs—optimising cost-efficiency and storage capacity.
- As the company scales, you will have the opportunity to transition into a leadership role, developing and managing a small team focused on expanding operational analytics capabilities.
Requirements
- A strong track record in commercial insights and analytics roles, with experience in data interpretation, manipulation, statistical analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of operational data and key metrics across the supply chain, order efficiency, logistics, and warehouse management.
- Advanced technical proficiency, particularly in SQL, DBT, and Looker. Experience with Python, Databricks, and Snowflake is an advantage
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
