We are embarking on a greenfield data project and seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and deliver a proof of concept for a cutting-edge data solution, leveraging Azure and GraphRAG technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greenfield Project Development: Design, build, and implement a proof of concept for a data warehouse solution from the ground up.
- Azure Expertise: Utilize Azure technologies to architect and manage scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms.
- GraphRAG Integration: Employ GraphRAG to optimize data processing, retrieval, and insights delivery.
- Hands-On Delivery: Lead the end-to-end implementation, from planning and design to execution and optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across technical and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Documentation and Handover: Provide detailed documentation and assist in transitioning the proof of concept to a scalable production system.
Essential Criteria:
- Technical Expertise: Proven track record in building data warehouse solutions, preferably in greenfield settings.
- Azure Proficiency: Deep experience with Azure data services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
- GraphRAG Experience: Hands-on experience with GraphRAG for data integration and management.
- Private Equity Experience: Previous experience working for a Private Equity-backed business, understanding the unique dynamics and fast-paced environment.
- Hands-On Approach: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to independently drive project delivery.
Contract Details:
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.
- Location: Hybrid (London-based).
