The Role
Finatal is seeking an M&A Analyst to join a fire and security services business backed by a mid-market private equity fund. The company is pursuing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, providing an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in M&A to contribute to a fast-growing, acquisitive organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting all aspects of the M&A process, including deal origination, valuation, due diligence, and execution.
- Conducting detailed financial analyses and preparing investment cases for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborating with external advisors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Assisting with post-acquisition integration to deliver value from acquisitions.
- Providing strategic insights to guide acquisition decisions and maximize returns.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in M&A, deal advisory, or transaction services.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the entire M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, execution, and integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have full-cycle deal experience, encompassing origination, due diligence, execution, and integration. While candidates from any sector will be considered, a proven track record in managing end-to-end M&A processes is essential.
