The Role:
Finatal is seeking an M&A executive to join a financial services business, recently backed by private equity and embarking on a strategy centered around strategic acquisitions. This is an exciting opportunity for first-time movers from deal advisory or transaction services looking to transition into the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of the merger or acquisition process from start to finish.
- Leading due diligence efforts to assess the financial and operational viability of potential targets.
- Coordinating and managing the integration of acquired businesses.
- Developing and implementing strategies to realize the maximum value from each acquisition.
- Working with other members of senior management to ensure that all aspects of the merger or acquisition are successfully completed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions with private equity, or a related field or working with Buyside teams on Due Diligence and financial appraisal.
- Knowledge of the M&A process, including due diligence and valuation.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ideal Candidate:
Ideally, you will have gained experience working in M&A from Private Equity background or similar corporate finance/ M&A role working on buyside in industry.
