Finatal is partnering with a private equity-backed, TMT business to recruit an M&A Director to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for a clear path to progression. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, you will lead a team of four.
Responsibilities:
- Redefine and implement processes and governance frameworks to enable efficient management and oversight of multiple deals simultaneously. This includes enhancing operational controls to streamline deal flow and mitigate risks.
- Lead the entire deal lifecycle, from managing due diligence advisors to ensuring smooth execution, while aligning with company objectives and maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage deal timelines, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies throughout the deal process.
- Drive clear and effective communication across departments, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned at each stage of the deal lifecycle.
- Oversee integration planning, working closely with post-merger teams to ensure a seamless transition of operations, technology, and personnel, while focusing on key integration milestones.
Requirements:
- In-house M&A experience in a private equity-backed business
- Prior multi-site or TMT deals experience
- 8-10 years deals experience
- ACA qualified
