A private equity backed healthcare provider requires an experienced M&A Director / Head of M&A to lead on the next phase of growth. With recent funding, the business is forecast to double revenue in the next 3 years, with the majority of this growth derived from M&A.
Prior healthcare experience is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of all aspects of M&A for the business
- Management and development of a team of 2 M&A Associates
- Working with an experienced C-Suite and advisors to originate truly value creative acquisition targets
- Proactively promote the business and engage with relevant founders to ensure a strong network of potential targets
- Undertaking substantial CDD into targets to fully understand the business, its potential, and market they operate within
- Management of all other DD workstreams
- Responsible for all pricing and valuation activities
- Management of deal structuring
- Ensuring the Board and PE Sponsor are regularly updated on pipeline, live deals, integration milestones, etc
- Preparing detailed Business and Integration plans
- Working with the internal integration function to ensure integration milestones and cadence is adhered to
- Working on a range of organic growth initiatives to further support business growth
Candidate Requirements:
- Experienced Head of M&A / M&A leader
- Proven ability to gain buy in from, and influence, founders/entrepreneurs
- Proven experience across the entire deal cycle – Origination to integration/value creation
- High degree of commercial acumen
- Willingness to operate in a hands on manner across the deal cycle
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams / projects at any given time
